My name is Renai and my husband is Rodney.(Rodney has just been appointed as the Assistant Seretary of the ALA.) We have two beautiful children who we thought we would never get but we were blessed and we got two.
Our children were both born with different problems, so challenges as parents started right from the get go. We struggled through with the many, many, many doctors.

One of the most heart breaking challenges we faced was our daughters debilitating allergies.

She would breakout in horrendous rashes that would turn into serious eczema and then hospitalized with asthma (many a midnight run to our local hospital.)

Our son desperately wanted a dog, and this yearning is something I understood as I grew up with dogs and I had trained quit a few. But with his sisters allergies dog’s were definitely OUT.(although strangely enough certain cat’s are o.k but not all) We started to hear about all of the “allergy free dog’s” thus leading us to two years research on “dog’s”. We found and fell in love with the Labradoodle.

We bought Billy-.Joe and we have had tremendous success with our daughter and this dog.

Because of this we decided that our dog’s nature is so beautiful and we understand only too well the heartbreak of allergies, we wanted to share with other allergy sufferers what we had discovered. Although there is absolutely no guarantee that all allergy sufferers can have any dog there has been many allergy sufferers have success with Labradoodles.

B.J is wool, she stands at 22 inches at the shoulder, she has the most beautiful big brown eyes that you just want to drown in, she is caramel and carries the choc gene. She is pra prcd clear which means she will never go blind due to genetic eye disease and neither will her pup’s)The average hip score for a dog her size is 12, B.J’S are 7 which is excellent (this means no hip dysplasia and her pups will be clear of this too )As for temperament she is flawless, were little dogs often tend to be” yacky” and at times aggressive B.J is very calm and very welcoming to all. Children and other dog’s are instantly her best friends .She lives in our house with us and our cat Boo.

When purchasing a Labradoodle puppy, you have to ask yourself what is your priority do you just want to pay as little as possible and buy a pup and pay around a $1000 and get something that has no paper work, no background as in genetic makeup and no hip/elbow scores’ no guarantee let alone 2 years, no basic puppy training, no re-homeing procedure, no association to back up you and your dog. And at the end of the day can you be sure you have actually bought a Labradoodle????????
